In a few weeks most of your guys can chnge theyre names to Unreal.Mappers/(Name)....
LOL and i will be the only one who is a pure jumper ...

To get a Cylinder / Cone, make a simple brush with the intended diameter and then hit the Brush option in Radiant Menue Bar on top of your screen.
Under ARBITRARY SIDED you can choose number of Sides youd like your Cylinder to have OR in PRIMITIVES -> Cone you can choose sides for a Cone. Doing sided Cone 4 as an example will get you a pyramid, more will make more sides up to an almost perfectly round shape. Cylinder works pretty much same way.
(At least I think that is what you meant and how its done in cod2)

Need other ppl opinions to help me make up my mind here. I dug up a ton of stuff I made in cod 1/2 long ago and I think I may actually release some of it. (nvr thought that evr happen:)
As far as the mapping/release goes I could just put out a dozen maps in next 10 days from what I have already done, BUT i just never bothered to make things really playable in a public server so many of them have things I need to fix (ok skyboxes and such are a matter of seconds but some maps have no Lights / Jumpsizes...no comment / Texturing...Beware of Headache / spawnpoints in end and middle of map, etc.) It was just planned for personal use when i was bored of public servers or wanted to try new things. For me its enough if I can jump so i didnt care for detail^^.
ID SPECIALLY LIKE TO KNOW: what sort map ppl like more : Jump, Castle, Stronghold etc. (nice overall theme, great design, often way too small like castle or pipeline)
OR maps like : Tevy, Cow, Boost, Blowed, School, etc. (pretty ugly to LOOK at but somehow have often more and better jumps) |

This has been bugging me for some time now also. Is design and appearance > ugly look but more jumps? |

i dont care how many jumps a map has, if they are hard its ok look at jm_pipeline. it may has 20 jumps but they are all hard ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

I can say that a perfect map has to look good and has to contain hard jumps!
But im a good jumper 78% of the jumpers who are playing in our servers like maps like d-cow(-.-) more...bcs its easy! _________________ Vote yes for Obama! |
